Kind Teas is a small‑batch herbal tea brand created to bring comfort, calm, and connection into everyday life. Founded by Karen in Redhill, Surrey, the business began as a personal wellbeing project and has grown into a regulated, fully functioning tearoom producing handcrafted blends with care and intention.
Our Journey
Starting from Karen’s kitchen, Kind Teas quickly gained momentum through word of mouth and community support. A £1,000 Reigate & Banstead grant enabled the transformation of a small box room into a compliant production space, laying the foundation for growth across online platforms, markets, and retail partners.
Our Team
Kind Teas is founder‑led, with Karen overseeing blending, production, branding, customer experience, and operations, supported by trusted suppliers and local business networks.

At Kind Teas, we source only the finest whole-leaf botanicals from trusted growers worldwide, selected for purity, potency, and sensory brilliance. We never use tea dust, fillers, or artificial flavourings, just full-size leaves and vibrant herbs from the top 10% of seasonal harvests.
Carefully prepared through techniques like hand-rolling and air-drying, our ingredients retain their natural oils and active compounds. Each one is listed in our interactive glossary, so you can steep with confidence and sip with clarity.
